Students understood the types of Sentences and Phrases and applied their learning by attempting the exercises given in the grammar book. In Literature, students started with poetry “Tigers Forever”. Besides the reading comprehension, a lot of emphasis was laid on reading a poem, pronunciation and expression. The students were probed about the poet, his work and background and were encouraged to research further about the poet.

In their Physics lessons, students understood the physical significance of Heat. They understood how to measure temperature using “Thermometer” and procedure too use it. They learnt about various thermometer – digital, clinical and laboratory and how to use them and precautions to be taken while using these thermometers. Students understood the effects of heat in real life situations with examples.
Biology
In Biology, students learnt about how nutrition in plants. They also understood the essential requirement and importance of photosynthesis, its process. Students were surprised to learn about plants exist without photosynthesis, like plants that are saprophytic, parasitic and symbiotic in nature.

In Chemistry, students understood the difference between physical and chemical changes after discussion on various real life examples and with the help of activity. They also listed the characteristics of physical and chemical change into different categories. They understood and wrote chemical reactions involving different chemical changes.

कक्षा सातवीं के छात्रों ने इस अप्रैल माह में 1.स्वपरिचय और विद्यालय के अनुशासनात्मक अनिवार्य गुणों व नियमों के विषय में जानकारियाँ प्राप्त की। राष्ट्रगान, प्रारूपलेखन , वर्णवृक्ष नामक गतिविधि के माध्यम से तथ्यात्मकरूप में स्वर-व्यंजनवर्णों का ध्वनितंत्र के माध्यम से परिचय प्राप्त किया। द्वित्वाक्षर, पंचमाक्षर, संयुक्ताक्षर और रेफपदेन को वर्णविच्छेद नामक सूत्रावली के द्वारा सीखा। (पाठ-राखी का मूल्य) का पाठवाचन, कठिन शब्दार्थ-वाक्यप्रयोग, श्रुतलेखन और प्रश्नोत्तर करते हुए गद्यांशावबोधन विधा सीखी। पाठ के माध्यम से छात्रों ने सीखा कि भारतीय परंपरा में निहित राखी के कच्चे धागों का मूल्य व स्थान कितना महत्वपूर्ण और पवित्र माना जाता है। अपने विचारों को अनुच्छेद लेखन विधा के द्वारा अभ्यास किया । नुक्कड़ नाटक, पर्यावरण सुरक्षा और जल जीवन पर नारे लेखन, कविता लेखन करते हुए छात्रों ने पृथ्वी दिवस का आयोजन किया।जिसमें नन्हें छात्रों का प्रयास अत्यधिक गुणवत्तापूर्ण और प्रशंसनीय रहा।

Students were introduced to types of number systems. They were made to apply different arithmetic operations on INTEGERS with the help of properties : closure, commutative, associative, inverse and identity. They also applied the concept of BODMAS and fraction to examples related to real life problems.

छात्रों ने अप्रैल माह में मंत्रपाठ का महत्व , अभिप्राय , वंदना , श्लोक व मंत्रों के भेदभिन्नता पर चर्चा की । प्रारूपलेखन , वर्णमाला के तथ्यात्मक स्वर-व्यंजनवर्णों का ध्वनितंत्र के माध्यम से परिचय प्राप्त किया। द्वित्वाक्षर, पंचमाक्षर , संयुक्ताक्षर और रेफपदेन को वर्णविच्छेद के द्वारा समझा और अभ्यास किया। लट्लकार का परिवर्तनीय और अपरिवर्तनीय धातुरूपों के प्रयोग को समझते हुए धातुरूप कार्य का पुनराभ्यास किया। पाठ-१ जल संरक्षण को गद्यांशावबोधनरूप में सीखा । पदपरिचय के माध्यम से आवश्यक पदों का प्रयोग व पुनरावृति कार्य करते हुए पाठ पढ़ा । संस्कृत भाषा की उपयोगिता और तथ्यात्मकता को छात्रों ने जाना। संस्कृत वाक्यों के प्रयोग का यथायोग्यअभ्यास किया।

The students were taught to identify different seasons along with the respective months. They were able to write small sentences using prepositions and articles. They learnt about the important festivals of France along with when and why they are celebrated. Students enthusiastically enjoyed creative activity where they had to paste and draw the four seasons.

The session started with an exciting recap session of what they have learnt in Grade 6 (introduction, numbers (0-100), days of the week, months and seasons). They were introduced to the concept of verb conjugation practicing with different verbs, most important being ‘sein’ and ‘haben’. The start of the course was interesting session where they learnt the names of different food and drink items. Using this understanding they did an engaging activity of menu card making in relevance to the 1st chapter.

Students started with the History lesson by familiarising themselves with various names for India from the ancient, medieval and modern periods. They understood the different sources of understanding about our heritage by way of class discussion and research work.
Geography
Students learnt about our environment and the interdependence between man and environment. They undertook research work in groups to find out the role of a spider and an earthworm. This was done to understand that even the smallest creature forms a part of the food chain and is thus important.
Civics
Students learnt about the difference between direct and indirect democracy and connected the lesson with the democratic process of elections in India.

Students were introduced to art materials and the techniques of using them, They learnt how to draw a human face. Students enthusiastically made posters for Earth day. In their pottery lesson, they understood how early man used clay to make utensils. Using that understanding they made clay vessels (bowls and cups) in their Art and Pottery classes.

Indian Music
Students learnt about Indian classical instruments – parts Harmonium and tanpura. They also enjoyed learning to how play basic sargam on the Harmonium.
Western Music
Students were introduced to dynamic symbols in music. They understood how the symbols are interpreted and implemented. They also learned a beautiful song “Sleeping Child” by a renowned group Michael Learns to Rock.
Physical Education
Students were introduced to the game of Squash. They were made to understand the basic rules of the game and the markings on the squash courts. The focus was to make sure everybody is able to grip the racket properly and are able to make contact with the ball. They were also introduced to the court movement used in a game of squash.
Life skills
School Counsellor built rapport with students. Students understood the counselor is there to help / guide the students resolve conflicts, time management, behavioural issues among other things. The first session the students had was to learn about self-care and importance of being healthy, understanding that the physical, mental and social health of a person actually makes the person a balanced individual. As a follow up, self-assessment worksheet was given to the students. Based on the scores by the students the students understood that each individual is strong in a particular area - can be in academics, sports or any other activities. This actually gave the students an insight on their own potential.
Workshop on “Stand against Bullying” was organised. Students grasped the meaning of bullying and different types of bullying like – physical, emotional, cyber, exclusion, and verbal. They learnt about the possible reasons of bullying, how one feels by getting bullied. They realized that it important to understand when it is to be termed as bullying . A simple conversational joking around cannot be termed as bullying. It was essential for the students to understand that even being a bystander at times is not the right thing to do and can be associated with passive bullying. Students were also given some pointers on how to handle a situation against bullying in school or otherwise.
